The Chronicled Episode of Disenchantment

Those fabled tears

Bleeding

From tales in your head –

Who killed that fabled smile of yours

And wiped the glistening blood off the blade?

That little girl

Standing there with her candy –

What is the price of her innocence

In this wicked world of thieves?

The poor damsel

Waiting to be saved someday –

How does she know

How long it’ll take

Before she is snatched away?

That old lady

Rocking calmly in her seat –

Wondering:

How can I steal back

The fading ghosts of thine youth’s eve?

The charted days

That bleed from chronicled tears –

Who carved a map on your sweet face,

And ran away with your fairytale?

Very nice! I have absolutely nothing negative to say about it. It is written in classic style.
