My Dream of a YouTuber

Dreams…the heart’s thoughts

Or perhaps the brain’s therapy

Either way…dreams allow me to be with him

Last night I was in his arms

And I admitted to him

How often I find my focus

Drifting along avenues

Where his image resonates

And…here in my dream

He loves me

I love him

And we are each other’s universe

But when the waking world yanks me from this

I am reminded how much this reality

Will never manifest

And I weep
