Confused

Confused

A Poem by Madison
"

I need advice, please.

"
Confusion...
A foggy mind,
Lots of thoughts,
Muddled together.

Good and bad,
Both confusing.

I know what I want,
But if I say it aloud,
Will it come true??

Confusion....
My thoughts are screaming at me,
Say it aloud,
And risk losing everything.

I’m in need of counseling. This is about a guy, but it’s also about me. It’s about my opinion towards myself, and a guy I like, that has confused me.

Hello Madison, firstly I really love this poem. What I think it's trying to convey is that you're trying to tell someone (or maybe yourself) how you really feel but it could complicate things or you could "risk losing everything" as you put it. As for advice, I don't really know the situation but in relation to telling someone how you feel, I think you have to ask yourself if something were to happen right now where you couldn't tell them how you feel, would you regret it? Take my advice with a grain of salt, you don't have to take it at all. I really like your writing and I hope you continue!

If you want something, ask yourself are you prepared for what happens next? Most people are not. Are you? Only you know that. Do not be surprised if they betray you. People will. Can you handle it? Rejection? I guess you will find out.
