Sacred Ground

Sacred Ground

A Poem by Raven
"

lovers who died together

"
Straying onto sacred ground
the resting place of souls who've gone
solace is what I sought
You are who I found
Here among the fallen stones
bent and wilting trees
Here we stand under the moonlight
United once again.
This is our place
This ground in which our rose took seed
It is here that our our love grows
An ironic place for something that shall never be put to rest.

My boyfriend helped me with this one. I had a hard time fixing it, nothing i did sounded right so i asked him for help rewording somethings. I give credit to those who help me. But thank you. Both of us tried to make this piece even better.

I loved the last line of this. This is a very good poem. I loved how you focused on the visual presentation of this; it looks very nice on my computer screen. Great work. I look forward to reading more from you.
