House of Ruins

House of Ruins

A Poem by Raven
"

house slowly falls due to abandonment

"
Creeping stairs which creak and moan
An ancient door that screeches and groans
A tired ceiling with patches of holes
Lets' in the moon shine upon the lost souls
Portraits line the halls possessed of a stare
With red glowing eyes they seem to glare
Fungus grows fro m in the cracked walls
Molding statues all crumbled in the halls
Smell of death seep from beyond the grave
Filling with fear expanding an eternal wave
Forgotten now pieces buried deep
Swallowed by the tainted grounds it keeps.
