Blind

Blind

A Poem by Damion Ravenbourne

And with your subtle indecision you rake my heart in two,
Because I really want to stay
But the fog across your words truly haunts me in the day

Yes, the cipher of your speech
Is a code I cannot break
And it seems I've pushed my limits
Feel I've had all I can take

From you, these days
'Cause you speak clouded in grey

Well, it sort of rhymes, but doesn't really rhyme, and it sort of has a rhythm, but it doesn't really have a rhythm. It's also a little bit unclear just what this poem is supposed to be about. It sounds like you might be in love with someone and you might want a committed relationship with them, but they are unwilling to commit to a relationship. Is that what it was about?
