Reunion

You entered my hospital room,

We hadn't seen each other in a while,

But it was more than worth the wait to see your smile.

You entered in so excited to see me,

You couldn't stop smiling.

I swore you would jump up and down,

so happy to be by my side again.

You ran beside my hospital bed and held my hand.

Told me how much you love me and missed me,

and you apologized for being 5 minutes late.

Once our folks left us, you sat beside my bed,

and held my hand and stroked the hair on my head.

Oh how good it was to see you smile. Your beautiful smile.

You kissed me, and teased me that I had been wanting that for a while,

I smiled at you and told you that I could tell it was a mutual desire.

So there you were finally by my side, 

Telling me how brave I am for going on this wild ride.

You were so worried and now all the worries washed away.

You were so happy to finally see your baby.

Then later, the moment I will never forget, the first time you saw me stand.

There I roll to the side of the bed,and am pulled up gently,

There I sit on the edge of the bed and lift myself up.

You see me, and time stops. Your eyes lit up like a thousand stars

You can't control your smile, and I'm sure I saw a tear.

I walked towards you, and stand infront of you.

There you stand speechless.

Your eyes speak ''beauty''

A walk a step closer, and see your face.

There we embrace, the first one in what seems like forever.

You should've seen the look on your face.

And that was the moment I knew I was in the right time at the right place.
