I want you to go.

I want you to go.

A Poem by Raymond Federle

Why couldn't you just die?
Why did you go on when there was no reason to?
Lying there all broken.
The only thing good left is your soul.
So why couldn't you be good soul and die?
Leave us here to cry and despair, looking up with those wide staring eyes.
More machine than human.
Just let go. It's easy.
I will show you.
I will go first.
