Save your Jubilation

Save your Jubilation

A Poem by RazzySkittles

Poison that is envy
Jealousy
Anguish
Punishment
Revenge
Harm

This toxin that flows through the shattered remains of the bond we once had.
Dear old friend, it wasn't meant, I mis-stepped, every one does.
What was meant was to recolor the friend ship
that had faded with time and absence.

Understanding what wrong I did
I will take the words that slap my face
That burn my ears, and freeze my lungs
I will take them and hold them no matter how they hurt
Or harm.

It is my place to take them for the mistake I have made.
But understand, that the words you slap me with are a bane
If you really must show your anguish in the way I have mistreated
then simply let me go, don't be my cohort, if my camaraderie is a venom to you

Then let it float away, life is to short to hold on to people who aren't good for you.
I want to be a good bosom buddy, but ultimately you decide if I am a good familiar for you or not.
The feelings of anguish and punishment may make you feel better.
But it's an evil gas in the air of your emotions

There will be exhilaration and alleviation
in those brief moments of bitter sweet vengeance
Then it will grow into something you cannot tame
Those brief moments will not be enough
It will choke you dry and dead.
Those feelings are a devil to your joy.
To muster those feelings in you, I did not mean to.
let me go
So that your elation may live.

I do not wish to let go of the beautiful colored lights
Of our trust.
The blues in our woes
The reds in our predicaments
the green in the lush happiness
The orange in our pain
The purple in our love
The white in our loss
The black in our gain.

To let it sink to the bottom of the ocean of wonders and horrors
Wonders of beauty and care
Horrors of alarming places within ourselves
But don't let the link of our friend ship carry you to that dark place
Don't let it poison you.

For the sake of your happiness I will go.
I will not return unless you ask of it.
Blunders from the grays and coldness of silver
won't be allowed to effect your merriment

Don't let it poison you,
If you must
Then tell me to go
and to not come back

Save your Jubilation
