PrintsA Poem by Re-discoverThis is a personal piece that I wrote after a hiatus of 3 years- its terrifying to venture into something so hidden and complex but a poem neither complies nor waits- it just demands.1- There's a serene pleasure, in being touched ever so light, a slow stroke of hand, expanding, unveiling, all that's hidden, all that's ridden in some shame of some past. 2- I have relinquished my fears, one acquiescent curl and I feel the chaos underneath, It's been so silent, It's so clear. I refuse to fall. 3- He embeds in me colors unseen the warm hues his mouth paints My veins reach out to him, Red vines curl to be touched. I'm unsure, If he'd ever move, he'd ever shift, and see the trail these red threads weaved for him to find. 4- I don't want to love He believes love isn't for him His face, my hands, a kiss ever so crazy, There is no love, I ought not to love. © 2018 Re-discoverAuthor's Note
