A Poem by Solitary Dreamer

A blur of lights staring blankly at me...

Too scared to move,

Too afraid to breathe.

Taking in what must be happening,

Closing my eyes as the driver stomps the accleration.

Standing silently,

Knowing if I move there was no use.

The car coming at me.

I must face my horrible fate.

Hit.

I fall to the ground, numbness in my entire body.

Take a last breath.

A blur of lights staring blankly at me...

I am no psychiatrist but I would say if this was a dream it would represent someone who has fallen in love and is scared of it. A great read.
