The Sanctuary's Riddle

The Sanctuary's Riddle

A Poem by Perry
"

A certain "sacred" place

"

The Sanctuary's Riddle

It starts with a song or a moment or a touch.
The hairs on your neck stand up.
Sometimes your eyes roll back
and you're in that "place."
Releasing energy and feeling it through and through.
You did it, you're here!
if "epiphany" was an emotion,
you feel it quite clear.

Nothing can touch you,
you've let go & have been freed.
The emotion deepens
when you realize,
"life isn't that bad.."
For now you can be okay,
"sheltered from the storm."

Yet you pleed,
No please! That "life" calls my name
but I'm too High to fall and obtain.

Sanctuary Sanctuary
Please don't let go,
to leave me lonely and surreal,
only in this place I can heal.

Sanctuary Sanctuary

Set me free from the demon's tangles.
Let me be free like the angels.
FEEL FEEL FEEL
Release..

"Mine is the empty jar
and baby I want blood.
There's no sign from God
or atomic flood.
Bones are just bones
they break and are brittle.
Life has no meaning
and it's all just a riddle"..
.

Breathe..

A fifth of what? :) Actually, aside from some misspellings, I find this intricate and intoxicating. I'm reading it while listening to Sirenia (the album "At Sixes and Sevens") at the moment and I find it kind of fits along with their music. Very cool. Like the contrast of the red stanza compared to the rest. A "grab 'em by the throat and throttle them" kind of feel in that one. On the word "threw", I think you might have meant "through". Will have to double check that. Also, "ubtain", did you mean "obtain"? If not, what is "ubtain"? Anyway, kudos to you on interesting write.
