Blackest Rose

Blackest Rose

A Poem by RedLotus
"

This was a poem I wrote a while ago and it was published on poetry.com. :) Just thought I'd share it here with you.

"
I will not know where the petal will fall
I am waiting for that final call
The deepest desire for the coming end
Come forth to the place where the Reaper will send

Tears of pain and shallow faith
Here he comes, the menacing Wraith
Extend your hand and follow through
To begin eternity with you

Two lovers embrace in the cold glow
Of that desolate land covered in snow
No horizon in the distance
Darkness surrounding at every glance

Impending separation is coming soon
Rising with the shining moon
Take me to the desolate land
To be with him and understand

Lovers never meant to be together
Separated by cruel fate forever
The Reaper has callen
The final petal has fallen
