a poet's envy

a poet's envy

A Poem by J. Randall Dodd

(clouds flowing, stones rolling, dogwoods bent- kissing

white petals floating, scattering

spring wind folds over crisp water's edge)

         experiencing

         nature's poetry

written upon war eagle creek

         i find myself envious

I love how pronounced your imagery is, how real, and yet so simple, the snapshot. The words flow, and match, the creek. Excellent work!
