The Road Never Truly Taken

The Road Never Truly Taken

A Poem by Reddog19

Last night, I had a dream.

I dreamed I turned back

And saw,

Through the brush

And the rivers,

There had been no path,

Simply a wolves' trail.

I had been yards

From the maws of the beasts.

But You came forth

From the earthly soil

And guided my feet

From the evil entities.

You have Saved me

More than once now.

I am Yours.

My Light,

My Truth,

My Way.

Death no longer has

Its sting.

Words no longer

Hurt me,

For I know you are there.

And you will protect me

In my time of need.

I will Save in Your Name.

For the Glory and the Power

Truly is Yours,

Now and Forever.
