With Tyme

A Poem by Reeses
"

I started writing this lyke last week or really before that and recently decided to finish it. Had a bit of writers block. Kind of took pieces of my weekly experiences, brought them together and finished eventually. Everything happens . . . "With Tym

With Tyme

I have found a new basis of fascination

My eyes stare at this creation and fall in love

My heart beats faster than a million drums

I’m in love

I watch you smile and I fall weak in my brain

Your voice takes away the strain and relaxes the pain

I must stay awake

Falling to sleep so I may dream of you

Exhaustion becomes real and I can barely keep my eyes open

I want you; I want to hold you and make you mine

Too scared of rejection

I punish myself for you

I tell myself lies and hide pride

I flee from the glance of your eyes

I drink into your spirit like your emotions are a heavenly cup

Yep . . . my love erupts

Dancing to your music

I will sing the song if you choose it

I have your love, no need for lust, I want your soul

I want to stare into your eyes and watch the line of love turn gold

I’ve had my chance to be with you until the sky blackens

My lips remember kissing you for 3 minutes and 16 seconds

When you think of love the way I do . . .

Most likely I am too, sitting right there beside you
