4rm here?

4rm here?

A Poem by Reeses

As I linger here I fail to see. . .

When i was too afraid to be apart of you,

yet far away from being me

I daily recall the first day we met

Too vague to remember and to much to forget

Unsure of what I should do even if I could. . .

Erase what I feel it would not change where we stood

Now I stand alone leading the waves of your sea

Allowing them to come along and persecute me

I play the fool just to feel your touch

You are the puppet master whom works me to a hush

I speak and I swear you don't hear what I'm saying

Then I wake up to this game that I been stopped playing

I fall victim to you but I have no fear

Where do I go from here?Dry eyes, no tear

I have to admit that I didn't quite get the title until the end, but at that point it matched perfectly. Again what I get from your poetry is power. You seem like an incredibly strong woman, even in the face of hardship, and you know yourself. That is one of the hardest things to achieve in life. You seem young, so that is a great accomplishment. Kudos, chica!
