EYE-THEE-TEN-TEA

a poem I wrote a while back that takes a harsh look on society.

I am surrounded by fools

That plague my mind with s**t

We are seen as tools

In this superficial pit

You can say you’re better than me

Well open your eyes!

Only then you’ll see

That your blinded by lies

Doctors who are paid to change our looks

Are greedy b******s, just filthy crooks

It’s human to not be the same

Instead we obsess over the insane

Trying to look like a movie star

Never accepting who we really are

Plastic and dyes with big fake breast

That’s what it takes to be the best?

It just makes me ****’n sick

That guys are judged by the size of their dick

Going around feeling like equipment; defected

People kill themselves from not being accepted

Haha! This is good. Except for a rapping contest, you should've written more about yourself and how great and gangsta you are and your bling and this that and the next thing. This is way too over any rappers head. This is something only an intellegent human being can write. No offence to ya'll rappers out there. But they wouldn't write this. This is way too good! You exceeded my fellow writer, you exceeded and jumped to the top!

Firstly...you tell 'um!! I love the harshness, the roughness,,that is what makes it so damned real! People need to look in the mirror and not on the TV screen or magazine. I truely appreciate the no BS approach and the reality. One of my favorites for sure!

Good work, it doesn't really follow any pattern I have seen in rap, but the message was good. But you shouldn't apoligize for something you believe in, it takes away from the message. Not to mention most rap is contraversial like these lyrics =P
