Bonds

The strongest force.

No chain can compare

No shackles is as brave

As a bond created between kin

May it be of hate

May it be of love

No iron nor crystal can compare its might

It draws lands and nations near

Or shatters them to dust

It can bring a mighty warrior to his knees

And a slave to break free

It is able to destroy the wise

And pushes the meek to greatness

It can fill a throne,

And at the same time empty it

It opens the mind

And also closes it

It could bring forth spring

And may also bring fall

Nothing can compare

To the horrors bond can cause

And no one can reject

The sweetness it holds
