The Intention

The Intention

A Poem by Reika
"

It never tires...

"

Voice

My unspoken dreams

Mirror

My joys and sorrows

My intention

Was to pour out what was once myself

To mix me in

With something new

Who knew

Of all there is to find

I'd close my eyes

And open them to you

Author's Note

Reika
Wrote it today while I was in class because regular English pisses me off. I needed something happy to do. They really should have put me in AP English like I signed up for. It would have been a bit more convenient.

My favorite stanza--full of the awe and surprise of love. Very nice!
