Grammar

A Story by Zeitgeist Manifesto
"

My first lesson

"
I was in
grade school when

Duck Dodgers posed heroically
in a standoff with Marvin The Martian

He pulled out
his "Acme Disintegrating Gun"

Put it to Marvin's face
and pulled the trigger

His "Disintegrating" gun
crumbled apart
into a fine powder

Marvin retaliated
producing an
"Acme DisintegratOR Gun"

ZAP!!!

There was then
A pile of ashes
and a Duck Bill

great stuff man, need short stories like this at primary school and secondary school. This form could really educate the importance of grammar in a fun way that you could easily retain

Now this is brilliant and made me smile..........so true how a few letters change so much.

it really is funny when you change a letter or two it changes the whole complexion and context of it and hopefully elicits the response you were going for to a one where everything turns into a disaster. great use of grammar to describe what happens.

Laughing, wondering how you managed to think up such a post. You have such original ideas! Seems you missed your vocation teaching basic Grammar. :)

Humorous and pointed. It made me laugh, especially with the new trend in lack of grammar, even in TV shows. Good work on this piece! :)
