A Poem by Rem Sevven
"

in memories of 9/11 (written 9/11/2021)

"

Mourn but do not wallow.
Memories we all recall.
A nation entrenched in sorrow.
A pain reaching two buildings tall.

We Gasped, we screamed we wept,
We raged, we stood, we waged.
We fought a war, but still we kept,
The anguish of that outrage.

The war, not soonly done,
A great injustice stayed unamend.
A nation of ' all is one',
Did not leave till the conflict ended.

And though time has past,
Our sadness and our memories of,
That tragic day still last,
In sorrow and in love.
