Broken Soul

Broken Soul

A Poem by Rena Beau
"

There's actually a second rendition of this poem, to be posted as well, but this is actually the original version of it. Written November 29th, 2003, also under the alias of Ronnii.

"

A broken heart,

a tortured soul,

she faced the darkness,

on her own.

A small child,

with a sad face,

all she wanted,

was her own space.

Now she sits,

alone and cold,

with no one to love,

and no one to hold.

I feel as if the last 2 stanza's are like, be careful what you wish for... wanting her own space, then having it but alone, cold, with no one to love

short piece but very heartfelt.

altho i do wish i knew a bit more about what darkness she had to face...

great write though

much love n respect

I think it would work well as a base. It is short and simple, but emotion filled. Well writen and well though out.
