QUEEN

QUEEN

A Poem by Rene Velez

There is no colony
without a #queen,
servant and sentry,
loyalty her demand,
fruitful is the land
as she reigns,
...sweet...
if the ends do sting,
royalty's rings, in
a buzz for her freedom,
if needed,
soliders would die for
her Kingdom

All hail the queen. I enjoyed the way every line was bound together with the others.

In the spirit of brevity I enjoyed this poem; quick, simple, and to the point. To add, the poem is also quite unique "#queen" nice way to incorporate post modernism into your writing. Good job!
