Of Distant Past

Of Distant Past

A Poem by Ryter
"

This was a poem that I wrote during class for my ex girlfriend.

"
Of a distant past we have faced
In in grave, as in with grace
A distinct epiphany of silence
That we have over come tonight hun
It doesn't matter whatever one says
As long as I get to see you every day
But alas the Days have been driven to hard
That I've sheilded most of my heart
Do not fear, or believe what you think
For it will only last for a brick
Of time, and it will soon come to pass
We as this night, these word are made to last
I am aware of what I have done
But know that is in the past for when the sun
Rises from the east and then sets in the west
Will always bring forth a new night for out best
These weeks, soon to months, have been astounding
Because when i see you still my heart begins pounding.
I know that I don't show affection my dear
Mainly because i don't know how to make it appear
But I will try my best for I am the one you chose
And know that you are my scarlet rose.
