I'm Sorry, My Friend

I'm Sorry, My Friend

A Poem by Joseph - Michael
"

For someone I wanted to apologize

"
"I'm Sorry, My Friend"

Allow me to express myself
For the value of our friendship
So you can decide for yourself
Which is the best for our companionship

The day that we first connected
Everything became easier to vibe
Senseless world had been disconnected
New history began to inscribe

I've always had perfectly bad days
But you kept ruining them with your smile
Suddenly I have a lot to say
Questionable thoughts had been exiled

The only reason I chose to stay
I hate to see you fall
Another sadness for me to slay
So you can stand tall

Your happiness is all I care
Your company is what I crave
I have everything to share
Along with positive outcomes to engrave

When I first made a mistake
I've never felt so ashamed
My heart was about to break
I only have myself to be blamed

Never stopped thinking about it
Lost appetite and hardly slept
Feeling nothing, but like a s**t
Even my guardian angel wept

I've acknowledged, admitted, and apologized
Speaking from my own tough critic
If only I could get the mistake revised
Without any doubts and gimmicks

I'm not a knight in shining armor
I'm not going to kill the dragon
I'm not trying to be a martyr
I'm not ready to be done

I'm beyond lost without your fire
Only best insights came from you
Anything can be easily inquired
What I've said is nothing, but true

Joseph - Michael
It had been so long since I've written anything so yeah, I'm a bit rustic, just don't mind me.
