dark clouds manifest above my head

i peak upwards and see my inner demon, eyes a bled

its face changes to match my inner fears

i attempt to dart my eyes away but it always seems to be near

frantically running at this point i hear its laughs and tears of shame

paranoia sets in now as this spectre claims i am to blame

like a moth to a flame it follows and wants to consume

the eye of the storm has beholden me, feels as if im stuck in a tomb

paralyzed in the moment, the damp walls begin to close in as im ripped apart by this calamity 

my sealed eyes snap open and i remember what my shadow said, a la folie to insanity
