The Rising of

The World Rises

On the balcony he stood
Looking outward
High and Low
Far and Near

The Gaze captured everything
The body sensed the world
The Ears Heard it all

The Rising, the Rising
Of the people
Of the stars
Of the moon and the sun

And there he stood to capture it all,
And there there he stood to Gaze in Awe.

For truly the world did not rise,
For it was he that Rose.
