Fun Time

Fun Time

A Poem by Pale Moon

School is done,
John and Jane,
To Robinson they go.

Jane sees Fun Time,
Where basketballs bounce,
Money pours.
Music and Noise.

"Let's have fun!" she said,
John disagrees,
in his dictator's voice,
she turns to silent.

Their plans done,
Both jump in jeep,
She looks back at the mall,
The line of her smile in regret.

'Fun Time'
Pale Moon,
This reminds me that one way to show respect is to allow others to express themselves and listen. Within the context of this little story is a pair where the needs of both of them are clear but the communication and hearing and listening does not seem to be happening between them. Great poem.
Blessings,
Kathy
