Cataphracts of Parthia

Cataphracts of Parthia

A Poem by Pale Moon

Descendants of Persia,
Rival warriors of the Roman Legions,
Known for Horse and bow,
Their kingdom was wide in the maps.

Their soldiers,
Blistering scale of iron armor,
Disciplined,
And beings like Centaurs.

Desert lands of Carrhae,
They defeated the invading romans,
Trampled their fleeing foes,
And poured molten gold on General Crassus's mouth.
