Who Is Pimp C?

Who Is Pimp C?

A Poem by Jerome F Knox III pseudonym Nefarious J. Dorsey

Hello there do you know me?
In actuality, you do
And I coming to show
You, how I pimp you
So you can see
the fallacy, in your realty

I was born to Tom Foolery
and my mother's name
Is Gretchen Greed
And from this lineage I got
Everything that I need

Man's imagination and
Preoccupation
Has put him in
this situation
To be Pimped by me
Mr.Commercialization
Or for short Pimp C

Now my w****s
Are not just in
Stores
No, their exist
In all aspect
Of your lives
It is how we breathe
And survive.

New Years you dance
The night away
And pray that you
Didn't spend too much
Until you look in my cup
To see the reality
That you are seeing is
Me, Pimp C

Then comes the
Time of year
Where everything
You hold so dear
Magically appears
Balloons, buffoons
And soon,
My father tries
To dip his spoon
In my bowl
Now that is
Some foolery
Trying to make
A fool out of me
So
I whip out my knife
Told him I would
End his life
He saw the reality
Of his son, Pimp C

Saint Patties day
Is not a real holiday
It is just another way
For you to pay me
So you can drink all
You fears away

Easter is no surprise
As piles of money
Continue to rise
To the sky, Why?
Cause it is about
New clothes, I suppose
Rather than the Savior
That died.

Now on Mother's Day
I am become a GOD
With all the flowers
Candies and cards
My income overflows
Cause everyone knows
That Mother's are the best

Memorial Day is the
Gateway to summer
But as time flies
You look up it's now
The 4th of July
As the fireworks
Light up the sky

Oops I forgot
Of course you won't be
Shocked
Cause in June
A quietness
Resumes
Not much to say
People don't pay
Much attention
Did I fail to mention
Not much spending or
Card sending
On Father's Day
So let me move on to
The next holiday

Labor Day comes rushing in
And changes the  scene
Boo! it is Halloween

Now it is November
You sit and remember
The Pilgrims and
Thanksgiving
Lie about things
You are giving
But the poor
Remains poor
As you are now
Thinking about
The things you
Want from the store
Now being grateful
Ends
When Black Friday
Begins
As people stand for
Hours
Exercising their
Buying power
With stuff that they
Don't need
It is because
Of this greed
That they bow down
To me
Pimp C
The richest
Criminal In History..........

P.S.
I must confess that
Things I saw
At Mardi Gras
Beads and breast
Lewdness
Nakedness
No shame
In this game
Cause they
Shout out
My name
Pimp C
As they give
Me all their
Money

Oh yes
I still
Must confess
I still have women
Working the block
Cause men like
To stop
To see
What they got
Is it strange
That my spare
Change comes
From there?
I told you in
The beginning
That I am
Everywhere

Finally
Lusting for
Technology
Gives me
Money
Such as
Iphones
Beats headphones
SUVs
65 inch TVs
Mansions
Yachts
Every thing
You got
I have and more
But I am not
Broke as joke
Cause what
You are I am not
That is poor

Author's Note

Jerome F Knox III pseudonym Nefarious J. Dorsey
I know the poem is long but having lengthy always poses an issue. Either people won't read it because it is too long and if you split it up people won't read both sections or read them out of order....sigh I decided to leave in it's entirety hoping that people will think that it is worthy of their time to read the whole thing. I am hoping that I am right.

I love the imagery of this Pimp C! IT's so freaking true, we get pimped out with desires, we think we need, need, need to spend the money we don't have to get things we don't even know we want until the Pimp says so! I always believe that we miss the freaking point of holidays with the commercialization of it all. Back off Pimp C!

I love the idea of Tom Foolery and Gretchen Greed as his parents. I like the line about make a fool out of me. In the author's note I see you are worried about length. Consider reducing the number of holidays and other topics that Pimp C applies to. Perhaps the technology bit could be a separate poem -

I have a slightly extreme idea. Turn each topic into a separate regular sized poem, but begin (or end) them all with one of the first three stanzas that explain Pimp C.

Different extreme idea - Turn it into a book where each chapter is a section of the poem.

Hope this helps.

we need a special holiday just for the pimp...commercialism and its w****s, and we pay them by the hour to make us happy...the more we buy the more we smile.
is there a hallmark card for that?
