A flawed preacher
A substitute teacher
A soldier
An inmate
Now that's
Another job
That I hate
A father
A Prodigal Son
A priest
Although I
Have not atoned
For the things
I have done
Still
I have been
A pimp
A John
A Sugar Daddy
But the only
Job that suits me

and the only way you could lose that last job "wizard of poetry" is if you quit yourself...

i can relate, not to all of this, but some of it...having had three marriages, a myriad of jobs...all that experience that makes life something interesting to look back on.

nicely done...this rolls off the tongue...short crisp lines.
