Adrift

without being either

moored nor steered

I navigate a dismal storm

straight into its eye--descending spiral

an obtuse intention

a part of me hidden in plain sight

below the comfort of false convictions

They will comply with no reason,

no logic structure and no wrong,

elevated to careful degrees

The devouring nature of

the made up suppositions

that burns the ties

and turn the bonds

of love and intimacy

into embers scattered amongst perdition

if a question of belief was relevant

I would have asked them all

but how to discover what to do?

In a place where there is no certainty

and every scene needs to be questioned

only to admit its relevance

the surging vortex has brought me

afloat once again

I lay distressed and exhausted

not knowing

the difference in between

what is

and what is not
