Blood MantraA Poem by Rene SalinasBeat PoetryWhile most just go on and on and on completely oblivious; to all their surroundings; to all that is constantly becoming intrinsically wrong; cemented on evil dark and old that wants nothing more than to trap all by impositions created to be believed as essentials for the human condition. I run; We run-- endless running. They run--run, run around our heads, like an addiction? Not so much, like a competition were there won’t be another position in life, but this last--we’re all tied to a mast at the mercy of an imposition. We never even had the chance to build our own prison--the conviction was imposed before the sentence without the possibility of inherent meaning, but only repetition; If I was you all, I would begin to reinforce your own constructions because what is coming leads to one and only one place Only one: That’s destruction. © 2016 Rene SalinasAuthor's Note |
