Land of the Hour

Land of the Hour

A Story by Rinsinya

Land of the Hour

String up the red banner of battle
And throw your time as now
Way down the way to then
When there is no time to prattle

Creeping softly through the night
Surging in with silent force
Storm the fortress of animals
And bring him from his ungainly height

Claws and fangs flash in the dark
History glides by as if nothing happens
The horror that takes place tonight
Only leaves the page snow stark

Please don't run and hide
Monkey king your time has come
To face the horrors you have avoided
now you believe you chose the wrong side

The lives equal your deathly cost
To bring you back to earth
The thing you can't avoid again
This fate you thought you lost

To the clash of iron and steel
And the overworked hearts that pound
They push and shove and end up gone
Though it's not, it all seems real.

We break away from oppression
As we use our vicious strength
Our wolves pound the ungodly door
To heal from the horrible repression
Of the Land of the Hour
