Reasons

Reasons

A Poem by Narmada
"

I write to a woman.. To not wait for any change or chance. To be both. To go out, fly, embrace love, make a family. To not worry about the differences. To make a nest weaving together all weakness.

"
This is the key
To doors,
there are no roads,
Carve your own!

Flap and fly,
Those wings
are not umbrellas
to cover.
Drench. Fly.

Pick a song,
remember the lines,
Sing it loud,
Nitpicks let them be,
Be your own melody.

Weed as you walk,
Seed there your love,
We shall return to this.

Now find your man,
Tell the world of him,
Tell him, He is your world.
Say it with words,
and silences. alike.

In straws of hope,
the homes are spun,
weakest cross sections,
come together,
hold.
Amidst differences,
Create a progeny,
Blender's pride,
wouldn't they be?!

Their wings
will flap,
you hand over the baton
and while you retire,
jaywalk in pride,
Those seeds of love,
( you left sown)
blooming, many winters gone,
warmth to the frozen heart.
