WHERE DO WE GO FROM HERE

WHERE DO WE GO FROM HERE

A Poem by SJ Mullins

Feeling sad, feeling deserted

Could this possibly have been averted?

Is it me?  Is it you?  Is is we?

I surely do not want this to be

I miss your smile, I miss your touch

I miss your kisses, hugs, and such.

Where do we go from here?

I pray it is not as I fear

I cannot imagine my life without you

Just the thought makes me blue

Too many times I’ve been torn apart

So many men have broken my heart

Don’t think I can take another heartbreak

Show me, like them, you are not a flake

Then my darlin’ I will not hesitate

To make you happy, and give my all

All you have to do is call.
