Threadbare: Confessions of a Useless Couch

Threadbare: Confessions of a Useless Couch

A Poem by Rliv
"

Three haikus for the price of one!

"
You'd think I'd offer
Some kind of loving embrace
But my bones are bare

No muscles to hold you dear
I'm the skeleton
Of what you wish I could be

Rest your troubled head
But I'm not responsible
For sore necks and aching bones

Interesting... that's the way the couch feels & I thought it was telling me something through all those hours of sitting on it... I never would have thunk it, good write:)

it's intriguing how you put those together. in the beginning, you could even think it's a person talking to another : would in fact if there wasn't written couch in the title !!
