Train Ride

Late night conversations 

Listening to music and sharing stories 

A long ride on the train 

Going everywhere and nowhere 

Waiting for an unknown destination 

Watching the city lights go by 

While my thoughts are running wild 

Thinking about the realm of possibilities 

Of what could happen tonight 

The stars are watching from above 

While we come closer 

Strangers become friends

And friends become lovers

Interesting piece as the allegorical nature of it suggests a journey and a destination which fits well with the development of a relationship. Not sure how many stations or changes of train might be involved though. Nice flowing work.
