Traveler

Traveler

A Poem by E.A. Archer
"

It's still in its infancy

"

Go without faith as you might go without clothes

Cautiously at first, stepping from what you’ve known

But step from yourself none the less, and look up

What you see has been traveling for ages upon ages

And it’s only meant to say that this is for you

And you are a part of it

For lack of better words,

You are a traveler.

So she asked me, “Who are you?”

I replied, “A traveler.”

She asked, “Where are you going traveler?”

I simply said, “There”

I pointed to her eyes, then her chest, and simply said,

“There.”
