Writing for you

Writing for you was never easy,
Finding words are too drastically crazy.
You can say the words don’t match,
It’s just that the things don’t hatch.

You came, you stayed…
You ran, you waved.
Parts of me called you from inside,
Heart broke before the words could unwind.

Things changed, got new life,
Looked back to find, but past was never behind
Standing beside looking eye to eye
You broke my heart again, without a sign

Still my face, giving a smile
Killing the soul inside for someone who was never mine.
