Love and Fear

Fear retards the senses,

Love heals the heart,

Fear strikes like barbed fences,

Love abhors being apart

 

Fear makes the soul crazy,

Love binds one and all,

Fear makes life seem hazy,

Love lets you freely fall

 

Fear likes the feeling of hate,

Love enjoys surrender and bliss,

Fear lays traps, with its clever bait

Love comforts, like a morning kiss

 

Fear makes us question life,

Love insists on living free,

Fear is an incisive knife,

Love fills the heart with glee

 

Fear believes in a lesser power,

Love looks for warm embrace

Fear strikes you like acid shower,

Love lights you up with grace.
