Promise

Promise

A Poem by Roland Sivar

To fight for her as I fight for breath
Not to weigh the more, or less
Never to play her heart
And without fear confess
A soul laid bare, my scars duress

And what dreams may come
In spending my greatest treasure
My time with you
My storm, my shelter
Stay close, my dear, for though we falter
We fall together, our landing softer
