The Beckon

The Beckon

A Poem by Rosa Carlyle-Mitchell
"

When you can finally submit to the feeling.

"
Let your things alone and come knocking on my door -
I’ll meet you on the threshold, I’ll be standing on the floor.
I’ll take your hand and lead you to a space so close to mine
That we overlap each other and get folded into Time.

I liked this a lot, short, sweet to the point, Kind of refreshing that something so simple as me waiting for someone in a line, holding it for them or something silly like that can beckon a new love, or a new story and chapter in life. I'd say its short and sweet and if anything it could be longer but then again the beauty is in how well its delivered in those four lines. Loved it.
