All These Words

All These Words

A Poem by Darkest Rose

All these words we wrote,
Are just rules to a game,
And the rules never last,
Always gone before the end.

All these words we wrote,
Just pretty words,
Nice and happy,
Sappy and sad.

All these words we wrote,
Just spells of love,
Spells of lust,
Just little spells.

All these words we wrote,
That's all they are,
Just pretty little words,
Nothing that will ever last.

I really like this! I especially like how you started every stanza with the line "All these words we wrote." When I read this poem, it almost sounded like a song to me. It's short and simple, yet holds a lot of meaning. Good job! :)

"All these words we wrote," well all of the words in this poem you wrote, and they are powerful with a impact and good. Really thought thinking in a way too. Really nice.
