The Last Mint

The Last Mint

A Poem by Anna

I think God has favorite people
like a mother has a favorite child;
she will say she loves them all equally,
and love them all she does.
But there is always one she loves
just a little bit more.
The one that gets hugged first;
little things that shouldn't matter
like another minute to watch a show
and the last mint in her purse.

Ever noticed that if you are in a 'big' family, it's the youngest... nice write and very neatly constructed... liked this a lot! :-)

I'm the youngest. It's not always the way it seems.
