Height of the Fall

Height of the Fall

A Poem by Anna

Close the distance between us"

The narrow path

Strewn with stars

In the deepening ocean.

I see the space between

Your fingers

The gap between your

Arm and your waist.

I see the fury

That exists between us

And the heat

In the middle with you.

All I need is half an excuse"

A remnant of a reason

To hold you like

I might never feel my own skin

On yours again.
