Do It All Again

Do It All Again

A Poem by Anna

I think of the moment

I fail you

I lose my grip

On this proverbial cliff;

In your eyes

Do I sink faster

Than you imagined I would?

Does the way I die

Disappoint you?

Can I perfectly befit you

One last time

As I fall from

Your grace--

My dignity is absent

By the chime

Of my complete collapse.

I fear my loss

And not my death;

But your face

As your brow twinges--

Do I lose your love?

In a fragment of time

That only you

And I know.
