I'm Okay

I'm Okay

A Poem by Ross Emerson Realino

A pretty face that sends me ground
A sparkle in her eyes I found
Smiling from ear to ear
Her sweet giggle I can only hear

All the things that give her trips
Are all in the hands that she grips
Moving body close to one another
Down the busy streets to forever

She craves for fries and slowly dies
Rises up for a ride with butterflies
Her smile that whispers in the air
Tells that someone must not care

In my dreams
I am that lucky one:
Witnessed her giggles
The sparkle in her eyes
The joy holding her hands
Her trips and insanity
Her worst and the best

She is now in his only one
She never needed anyone
Their best times in the stormy
Then what about me?

Emerson Realino,,
I can appreciate the expression of what is real to someone younger than myself and always find it refreshing. Bless you in your life and experiences.................kathy

About
I used to try writing songs before but I can't make one, so I tried to find something where I can put my early works of lyrics. Until they were turned into poems. I started poetry when I was 16 years .. more..
