Payback

A Poem by Ross Emerson Realino

I went to school to shoot the birds
Left her dead before I kissed her
I pinched her soul and whispered words
And wrote with blood on her chest all over

"I wouldn't mind if you fade away
All you need is to return the unpaid
What am I suppose to care about
After fooling me without a doubt

Hate is all we have
Hell is all I gave
Days have passed and we're about to die
You left without a whisper of goodbye

Wake up inside a coffin that you made
With my feelings that you had only seen
Everything ends with a blister on eyes
You only need me when you are nice"

So chilling, excellently done, just the right balance of horror and realism. The rhyming is perfect, brilliantly written.

About
I used to try writing songs before but I can't make one, so I tried to find something where I can put my early works of lyrics. Until they were turned into poems. I started poetry when I was 16 years .. more..
